At Michelangelo we strive to produce only the highest quality of work for our valued clients, and a sure way to measure success in this regard is to be featured in the popular and quite influential publication "Dwell" magazine. Well, just this July we were honored to gain just such exposure thanks to a very special custom home remodel that we were honored to be a part of.
The featured midcentury Point Loma home in San Diego was originally designed by renowned 1950s architect Lloyd Ruocco, and it received this remodel via a 2015 commission to Danish architect Jesper Pedersen of the DNA Design Group.
The article mentions that "Pedersen locally sourced the El Dorado tile arranged in a 3D pattern for the fireplace and entrance wall." - and that local source was none other than us!
We love working with clients who have a clear vision of what they want, and in the case of this ultra modern home with its "grandfathered-in" glass walls (that would no longer meet modern building codes), this "clear vision" really shows off our work and makes us proud to have been part of such an amazing and visionary project.
